4. Realistic - Edwin Joseph
The Cardinals need some help in the secondary again, and a player they have history with already is Florida State transfer Edwin Joseph. The FSU transfer is one of the top players on the portal, which means he will be heavily targeted, but the Cardinals were among his top choices out of high school, and hopefully, they can make a similar push now.
The 4-star transfer is ranked No. 9 in the Transfer Portal and is the No. 2 safety. The Cardinals' and Joseph's history dates back to 2022, when Louisville hosted an official visit from the 4-star recruit. The Cardinals were in the mix for Joseph when he was ranked as a top 400 recruit in the 2023 class.
Now, after three seasons with Florida State and playing in 28 games, the former 4-star target is available again, and Cardinals fans have made it clear they are heavily interested in him. With Florida State last year, he played in every game and logged 37 tackles, five pass deflections, three interceptions, and one forced fumble.
