One of the top quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal comes from Old Dominion. Colton Joseph is an under-the-radar superstar generating buzz around his name, but not to the extent of Lagway and others. Joseph is a 3-star transfer ranked No. 25 in the portal as of today, but when Louisville fans look at his film and stats, they will be blown away.
He is the No. 6-ranked quarterback in the portal, which means Louisville would save a lot of money on a player like him while still getting a high-IQ quarterback. A big catch for the fans is getting a quarterback with multiple years left, and with Joseph, he likely wouldn’t declare for the draft after next season, meaning he would lead Louisville for multiple seasons.
The dual-threat quarterback has thrown for 4,251 yards and 32 touchdowns while adding 1,654 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns. In 2025, he had 2,624 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,007 yards and 13 touchdowns. If Louisville wants to save some money and still get an elite quarterback, then Joseph is one of the best targets.
