3: Falling: Aboubacar Traore
Aboubacar Traore's minutes and production have decreased late in the season. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound forward averages 13.3 minutes a game, 5.2 points per game, and 4.5 rebounds.
The Cardinals forwards play a bit out of control and take wild shots. He averages 1.2 turnovers per game in his limited minutes and has averaged 1.6 turnovers in his last eight games, including two games with five turnovers.
UofL, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound forward from Long Beach State, needs to channel his production from last year. He averaged 12 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists,1.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals a game. Traore will get minutes due to the Cardinal's injury bug from earlier in the season, but he will most likely get around 10 minutes a game.
Traore has stretches where he looks like a solid everyday role player, and he has other stretches where he looks as if he shouldn't touch the floor. He has scored in double digits just twice all season, and he has had five or fewer points in 13 games, including the last six games.
Aboubacar Traore has the potential to be a key piece in the rotation, but he has been falling late.
