3. Falling: QB, Miller Moss

Miller Moss enters the season with more questions than answers. Yes, he had a hot start to last season, posting high statistical showings, which included 378 passing yards against the No. 13 LSU Tigers. However, his season was derailed after a three-interception performance against the Washington Huskies last November, which led to Moss being benched by USC coach Lincoln Riley.

These question marks regarding decision-making and interception totals have led national media to lower expectations for Moss’s impact at Louisville. On3’s Andy Staples presented his take on the top 10 ACC quarterbacks entering the season, and shockingly, Moss was not included on that list.

Moss will have plenty of opportunity to prove Brohm chose the right guy to lead his offense, but it appears he will have a lot doubters to prove wrong in the first few weeks of the season. If the Cardinals want to return to the ACC Championship game, Moss will have to come up clutch a few times and lead Louisville to victory. As of right now, he has to prove he can do that.
