4. How Good Is This Basketball Team?

This is a scary question to ask because the Cardinals were tested by Grand Canyon for almost the entire game. Yes, it was a road game, but the 14th ranked team in the country shouldn’t be losing at the half to that kind of program. It’s just unacceptable.

At the same time, we have seen the Cards squeak by Old Dominion, blow a lead to Baylor, and dominate Purdue. They aren’t as up-and-down as Indiana, but they aren’t far off.

The Cards have a brutal schedule at the end of December that includes Kentucky, Indiana, and Virginia. Not to mention, they go on the road to play Notre Dame right after that.

Only time will tell if this team can handle the pressure of the ACC schedule, but at least we know what we’re getting into right?
