Louisville basketball has become one of the nation’s elite programs thanks to an excellent cast of players through the years. We’ll countdown our list of the top 15 players to put the Louisville logo on their chest, and don the red and black since the year 2000.

It’s week three of our four part series where we rank the top 15 players to have put on a Louisville basketball jersey since 200, and things are starting to heat up. Last week, we went in depth on 11-8 ranked players, and opinions were varied.

Just as a reminder, these rankings do not have any specific formula, except that they are based off of the time that they spend at Louisville and the impact that they left on the program.

Last week, there were a lot of players who made the list who were not traditional 4-year players, but ultimately made an unforgettable impact while they were in a Cardinals uniform. This week, however, is a mixture of the traditional four year starter, and some guys who made their impact right away.

Here’s where we stand thus far:

15 – Preston Knowles

14 – Damion Lee

13 – Kyle Kuric

12 – David Padgett

11 – Donovan Mitchell

10 – Terry Rozier

9 – Earl Clark

8 – Gorgui Dieng

So, without further ado, let’s get down to the nitty gritty babay!
