Keeyon Stewart – CB

3-star

6’0, 170

Houston, TX

If there was one secondary player that I wanted the Cards to land during this recruiting cycle it would without a doubt be Keeyon Stewart. What the 6’0, 170 pound cornerback would bring to the Louisville is something that is currently lacking in a big way, and that’s speed.

Stewart is one of the fastest defensive backs in the entire class of 2019 and a guy who is being pursued by just about every Big 12 program outside of Oklahoma.

The Houston, TX native visited Louisville a few weeks back and looked damn good in the red and black.

However, though I believe he’d be a perfect fit for Louisville, I think it’s going to be too tall of a task to pluck him out of Big 12 country. Stewart said he was down to just Louisville and TCU a few weeks back, but has since visited Texas Tech.

He’s definitely one to watch tomorrow, but I’m not sure if he’s going to end up in Louisville unfortunately.

Other schools being considered: Texas Tech, Kansas, TCU

Prediction: TCU

Highlights here.

UPDATE: Since publishing this piece it seems Keeyon Stewart has eliminated Louisville from his possible selections.
