Jamel Starks – ATH/S

3-star

5’11, 180

Decatur, GA

If I had a big board from the Louisville recruiting staff, my guess is that Jamel Starks would be at the top of the list of guys they want to sign in this class.

According to Jody Demling at CardinalAuthority.com, Starks has a great relationship with Louisville co-defensive coordinator Bryan Brown, dating back to their relationship while Brown was the DC at App State. Starks is everything that Brown looks for in his secondary and would be a great fit for the Louisville defense from a talent perspective.

Starks has already visited Louisville and recently included them in final three. He will make his pick on Signing Day and while Nebraska and NC State have a shot, I think it’s the Cards who are the selection for Starks.

Other schools being considered: North Carolina State, Nebraska

Prediction: Louisville
