Hassan Hall

Sophomore

By all accounts, Hassan Hall is slated to be the starting running back for Scott Satterfield in an offense that has rushed the ball on average of 550 times per year with the lead rusher averaging 220 touches and 11 touchdowns over the last five seasons.

If Hall is able to duplicate or even top the success of the Appalachian State leading rushers, you are 100% looking at an NFL back.

More from Louisville Football

Hall has great speed, elusiveness, burst to the outside, power (for his size), and can catch the ball out of the backfield at a high level, all of which are things that scouts are looking for at the running back position.

At 6’0″ 180 pounds, Hall isn’t quite the size of an every down back, but in a role similar to some of the guys mentioned above there is no question he could be a big-time playmaker at the next level.

We still don’t know how Hall will do as a full-time lead running back, something he didn’t do until late in the 2018 season. What we saw was definitely impressive, and there’s no doubt that there is more left to come.

The Atlanta product looks like he could be a special player as a Louisville go to running back.
