Marshon Ford – 10 touchdowns

Jacob – Under

The fact that Marshon Ford, a former walk-on from Ballard High School, led the ACC in touchdowns at the end spot in his first season seeing action is a testament to just how good this staff is at developing talent.

Scott Satterfield preached from day one that it didn’t matter who it was, he was going to play the best players on the team. Ford landed the starting h-back role, a pivotal but undervalued position in the Satterfield offense, and never looked back.

We’ll see more of Ford this season, playing at the h-back spot as well as lining up at the traditional tight end position. He’ll have a lot of the same opportunity to contribute like he did last season and while I expect him to get close to the same number he was at last season, I don’t anticipate him hitting 10.

Ford will however be considered one of the top tight end’s in the ACC by season’s end and a guy capable of being drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Presley – Under

There’s no more flying under the radar for Louisville’s budding star as halfback. That doesn’t mean that the Ballard product won’t find the end zone less in 2020, but 10 touchdowns is literally just shy of one per game.

Louisville’s staff has been loving what Ean Pfeifer is bringing to the table this fall, and fellow tight ends Issac Martin, Tobias Little, and Dez Milton all appear likely to see significant snaps in 2020.

Martin is my pick to be the out of nowhere breakout player this season that we are raving about.
