Running back prospect Logan Frazier’s desire to be a Cardinal runs deeper than football. For Frazier, the University of Louisville is a family affair. Cardinal red runs in his blood. His grandfather attended Louisville but his playing career was devastatingly cut short by a familiar foe.
Looking forward to visiting this weekend! My grandfather played 1 year at UL, got sick, eventually diagnosed with cancer and couldn't play again. I'd be honored to be part of the program, carry on a legacy for our family, and contribute in any way I can. #GoCards pic.twitter.com/OL5T4sbJpx

Battling cancer reduced his grandfather’s playing career but Frazier wants to pick up where he left off and fulfill his familial legacy. Cancer is a product of a fallen world and has gained a foothold over too many lives. But cancer will not ultimately win and Logan desires to re-write his family’s Louisville history.
The running back room that Coach De’Rail Sims has assembled is nothing short of impressive. Landing four-star prospect Trevion Cooley, four-star Tennessee transfer Tiyon Evans, and five-star 2023 prospect Rueben Owens proved his ability to recruit at a high level. Adding Jalen Mitchell, Jawhar Jordan, and walk-on Grant Goodman to the mix gives the Louisville backfield significant depth.
The Summit High School product is looking to prove he belongs as he recorded a 79-yard run in his last high school game ever against Franklin High School.
79 yard TD to seal the game and end the season. Thank you Coach Coleman, Tate, the entire coaching staff and my teammates. We ended strong. #summit #football #FridayNightLights pic.twitter.com/pV7L3jusOz

His high school football career is officially complete and it is evident that he desires to suit up in Cardinal red. Louisville would be thrilled to add a talent like his to make an already talented roster stronger.
