Currently, Louisville has two members of the Class of 2023 recruiting class, 6-foot-6 small forward Kaleb Glenn out of La Porte, Indiana and 6-foot-6 small forward Curtis Williams Jr. out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. These two players add great depth to the forward position for Louisville basketball, but Coach Kenny Payne needs assets on all fronts this coming offseason because more than likely the roster will be a complete overhaul from this season to next season.

Yesterday, I mentioned the fact that Ballard combo guard Gabe Sisk needed a scholarship extension from the University of Louisville because he would not only help the team but he is also a hometown kid and a lifelong Louisville fan. It seems like a perfect match. Now, I want to shift the focus to the state of Indiana.

Kaleb Glenn is the third best prospect coming out of the state of Indiana at the moment and there is another member of the top ten who is not currently committed or signed to a university. He also does not have any power five offers at the moment.

He is Ashton Williamson out of Gary, Indiana. Williamson is a 6-foot-2 combo guard with great length and athleticism at the guard position. He also has silky hands around the basket and is very hungry on the defensive side of the ball, which is something that Louisville needs desperately at this point in time.

Right now, he currently only holds offers from Tennessee State and New Orleans. But, 247 Sports has him ranked as a three-star prospect, which is the same rating that Gabe Sisk has. He could be a diamond in the rough that is currently being overlooked. And with the state that Louisville basketball is in, he could be a great addition to the team.

As of this season, he is leading his team with an average of 17.0 points per game, 9.7 assists per game, 2.9 steals per game, shooting at a 45% three-point clip, and shooting 61% from the field. Williamson could be a huge asset to this team and could help fill in at a guard position that will be left without El Ellis at the end of the season.
