Louisville signed 4-Star WR Joseph Stone Jr. yesterday to the 2024 class
Jeff Brohm and the Louisville Cardinals have been quiet on the recruiting trail since the season started, but things picked up today as Brohm picked up a huge recruit for the 2024 recruiting class. Joseph Stone Jr. was committed to LSU since last summer, but decommitted last month and after visiting with the Cardinals this weekend, his decision seemed to be clear.
It is a huge pickup for the 2024 class and is a good fit for the type of offense Brohm wants to run. Here is what Stone had to say after commiting yesterday:
"“Mostly all my family lives in Louisville and coach Brohm is an offensive genius. I know we both have what it takes to get me to that next level. Coach McGee and I have a great relationship and have been building for more than a year now. I think the relationships I have at U of L have shown me this will be a 40 year decision and not a 4 year decision! I love the city and the people of Louisville and I can’t wait to put on for the Crib!”"
Stone Jr. currently ranks as the no. 7 athlete, no. 24 rated player in the state of Florida, and the 205th overall ranked player in the 2024 class according to Rivals. Stone looked to have a great visit to the Ville and the 34-3 win over Virginia Tech only helped matters. This is huge get for Brohm and the Cardinals, and should jump start what hopefully will be a talented class in 2024.
