2. Sananda Fru

The Cardinals landed a massive commitment from Sananda Fru, a 6-foot-11 power forward from Germany. The dominant forward played for Löwen Braunschweig last season and put up impressive numbers: He averaged 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting an exceptionally good 66.2 percent from the floor.

The 6-foot-11, 240-pound forward has all the skills and build to transition to a college basketball style of play. Fru will be one of Kelsey's dominant forces in the paint on both ends. Last year, he secured multiple double-doubles, including a 26-point and 10-rebound performance. He is also a force to be reckoned with on the defensive side, as he has a 7-foot-5 wingspan and is an elite defender. Fru has all the assets to be the Cardinals starting center next year, and he should fill perfectly in the dunking position and become an elite rim protector.

The 21-year-old is older than most freshman, but the new Cardinal should be one of Louisvilles best forwards by the end of the season. The fans have high expectations for Fru as the athletic forward is extremley mobile in transition and is expected to run from one end to the other. This dominant forward not only has the skill to run the floor but also has shown flashes of some playmaking skills, whether driving to the rim and flushing it for two or making some impressive passes to the open shooter.

Fru playing along with the Cardinals' sharpshooters will only benefit him as Kelsey will run a guard-heavy offense and should space the floor out. A space floor with sharpshooters will help the forward tremendously as he will have much-needed space on the court and the skills to post his defender up.

The Cardinals got a great player in Fru and he will be a crucial piece for Kelsey's National Championship team next year. Louisville hasn't landed any forwards or centers in the portal, so Louisville will need Fru to step up and guard those big centers and be the dominant force he was for Löwen Braunschweig.
