No. 1: Miller Moss has to have his best game yet
Miller Moss has certainly been interesting for Louisville so far this season, to say the least. Moss cost Louisville the game against Virginia last week, with his absurd pick-six as he was falling to the ground, his bad pitch to Isaac Brown, and a bunch of errant throws throughout the game.
Moss has to clean up his play, and if he doesn't, Louisville won't have a shot in this game. If Moss can take care of the football and not make bad reads, Louisville will have a decent chance to win this game. At the same time, it would help Moss if his team could run the ball effectively, rather than throwing the ball 50 times a game, which looks increasingly unlikely.
Moss will need to take a big step forward to get the massive upset against Miami, but we have all seen crazier things in college football. Hopefully, Moss will prove all his doubters wrong, and if he can't, Louisville will likely be looking at a two-game losing streak late Friday night.
Never count out Jeff Brohm in these situations, though. Whenever he has his back against the wall, his teams seem to play their best football.
