The former 5-star also posted on his social media, “soon...”, sparking Transfer Portal buzz. However, now that Brown is gone, Kelsey should reach out to Wooley and recruit him to stay.
Wooley showed flashes of why he was ranked as a 5-star transfer and No. 9 in the Transfer Portal last season. The combo guard averaged 18.8 points while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from 3-point range the year prior to the 2025-26 season, and while he was a bit inconsistent with the Cardinals when he consistently started, he showed he could be a big piece on this roster next season if he returns.
