2. AJ Storr - Kansas

2023-24 Statistics: 34 G, 16.8 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 0.9 APG, 0.7 SPG, 43.4% FG, 1.3 3PM, 32% 3PT

This player is a risk but could be a high-risk, high-reward proposition. AJ Storr is transferring from the Kansas Jayhawks after a highly disappointing year. Storr averaged 6.1 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting a mere 38.7 percent from the field and 29.1 percent from beyond the arc. So, many are probably asking why the Cardinals should pursue him.

Well, his ceiling is high, as the year prior he was one of the best players in the Big 10 and earned a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team in his sophmore campaign with the Wisconsin Badgers. Kelsey is one of the nations best devlopers a potential Storr brings might be worth a risk as at 6-foot-7 he aveeraged 16.8 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 43 percent from the floor for the badgers.

Storr is an athletic forward who can play from anywhere on the floor. He is highly athletic and can pull up in the midrange area or explode past his defender and flush it for two. Kelsey needs a forward who can stretch the floor out and take some attention away from his backcourt. The Kansas transfer is one of the best available.

Last season is a bit of a concern for the 4-star transfer portal prospect, but the potential is something the Cardinals should look at. Louisville has yet to reach out to Storr, but they should try and jump on it as he is a perfect role player to play with Brown, Wooley, Conwell and McKneely.
