1. The Cardinals stars showed out
When the lights shine brightest, stars have to deliver — and Louisville’s trio of Miller Moss, Isaac Brown, and Chris Bell rose to the occasion.
Miller Moss silenced critics after a rocky outing two weeks ago, playing his most complete game as a Cardinal. Moss didn’t turn the ball over against a Miami defense averaging nearly two takeaways per game, threw two touchdowns, and ran for another. He also extended Louisville’s streak of scoring 24+ points in 20 straight games, the longest active streak in the FBS.
Isaac Brown was the tone-setter early. He ripped off 39 yards on the opening drive, including a 28-yard burst that immediately tested Miami’s top-ranked front. Against a defense that hadn’t allowed a 100-yard rusher all season, Brown went for 113 yards on 15 carries, showcasing both vision and physicality.
Finally, Chris Bell continued his historic hot streak. Bell became just the fifth receiver in Louisville history to record 125+ yards in three straight games, finishing with nine catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns. His 36-yard third-down catch-and-run midway through the fourth quarter flipped the game, extending a 17–13 lead into a two-score advantage.
Bell’s emergence as a true WR1 gives Louisville’s offense another dimension — and his performance Friday cemented his place among the program’s most dynamic playmakers.
