Avoid: Dexter Ricks Jr., DB
Although Louisville is still looking to add in the secondary, former Liberty defensive back Dexter Ricks Jr. may be one name the Cardinals can look past. Ricks has spent his whole career at Liberty, where he has a respectable career total of 69 tackles, 7 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions.
However, for Louisville, there are simply better options for the same position. Liberty has found success at the Group of 5 level; however, it is not a given that the same success will translate to the Power 4 conference.
The former 3-star recruit will find a great place to call home next season, but Louisville may be better off exhausting other options before considering Dexter Ricks Jr. The Liberty transfer ranks No. 1,380 overall and No. 150 among cornerbacks in the Transfer Portal.
