4. CB DJ Waller (Kentucky)

Louisville lost multiple defensive backs from last year, and while the Cardinals will return key starter Tayon Holloway, they had to find someone to play alongside him. The Cardinals added many cornerbacks via the Transfer Portal, but Kentucky transfer DJ Waller appears to be trending toward starting.

With us predicting Waller to start, he has a lot to prove. Last year, he was sidelined due to an injury and played in just seven games during his couple of seasons with the Wildcats. He initially committed to Michigan, where he won the 2023 National Championship.

Now, he transfers to Louisville, where he has to prove he can be a starting cornerback again, as this Cardinals defense has high expectations. Waller was a 3-star transfer who ranked No. 709 overall and No. 72 among cornerbacks in the Transfer Portal.
