Kelvin Sampson and his Houston Cougars are coming off a heartbreaking loss in the National Championship and have all expectations to be right back next season. The Cougars are a physical program that plays with grit and would be an excellent test for the Cardinals during their offseason.
Houston was able to add three recruits to the top 25 for the 2025 class and learned that star guard Milos Uzan will return to Houston next season. This projected starting five has the Cougars ranked as high as No. 3 in way-too-early rankings.
Houston is known for its excellent defense and would test how elite Kelsey's roster truly is, helping him create lineups. A matchup between Louisville and Houston would be a must-watch for all college basketball fans.
