What a fun change from the previous few games the Cardinals have played in. Louisville basketball gets back to its winning ways as the Cardinals travel to Pittsburgh and come away victorious 100-57 in blowout fashion. Louisville is 3-3 in ACC play and 13-5 overall. The win comes at a perfect time for the Cardinals, as struggles entering ACC play have raised many questions about this team's ceiling and the role Mikel Brown Jr.’s absence has played.

Louisville absolutely dominated this game, as it was truly over within the first 4 minutes of the first half. Louisville raced out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back. The win showcased one of Louisville’s best performances on both ends of the court, giving Cardinals fans hope that the season can be saved even with the absence of Brown. The leaders and playmakers of this team stepped up early, allowing Pat Kelsey to tinker and experiment with a few lineups near the end of the game and give bench players some garbage-time minutes. It was a fun game to watch and a great response to the adversity the Cardinals have faced over the last couple of weeks.
