4. SF Tae Davis - Notre Dame

2024-25 Statistics: 32 G, 15.1 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 47.6% FG, 30.2% 3PT

Davis, a transfer out of Notre Dame, is one of those under-the-radar players the Cardinals should reach out to. Davis is the perfect role player to complement Kelsey's backcourt, as the small forward took a massive jump from his sophomore season to his junior. He is now a 4-star prospect in the transfer portal, ranked No. 37 overall and the No. 6 best small forward in the portal, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-9, 208-pound small forward has the skills to shoot from anywhere on the court, as he shot 31 percent from beyond the arc, but his main strength is his ability to attack the rim. The athletic forward has the toolset to blow by his defender and either explode to the rim or use his soft touch to float the ball in the hoop. He also can finish at the rim through contact.

Last season, Davis averaged 15.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 47.6 percent from the field. His ability to pump fake and drive is a key strength of his. The Notre Dame transfer has the perfect height for Kelsey's needs and would fit perfectly next to Brown, Wooley, and Conwell.

Kelsey has yet to contact Davis, but he entered the portal late last week. Davis should become a primary target for Kelsey, as he is an excellent option for the Cardinals in the portal.
