J'Vonne Hadley

Louisville basketball will lose one of its core players, J’Vonne Hadley, as he has officially exhausted his eligibility after five college seasons, including two with Louisville. Hadley transferred to Louisville from Colorado and made an immediate impact for Pat Kelsey, as he was a huge reason why the Cardinals had the season they did last year.

Emotional J'Vonne Hadley interview will have Louisville fans fighting back tears

Hadley averaged 12.2 points while shooting 51.8 percent from the field in his first year with Louisville, and this year he averaged 11.5 points while shooting 56.2 percent from the floor and 44 percent from downtown. He started in every game last season and all but one this year, and at 6-foot-7, he was a big piece of the Cardinals' frontcourt.

Hadley will be a player that it won’t be easy for Kelsey to replace. He was the most consistent Cardinal these past two seasons and quickly became one of the fans' favorite players.
