Mikel Brown Jr.

Everyone before Mikel Brown Jr. is because of eligibility, but Brown is because he will declare for the NBA Draft. With his name as high as No. 6 in some NBA mock drafts, the 5-star freshman has likely suited up in the red and black uniforms for the last time.

Brown’s season was spoiled by injuries as the 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard missed 14 games this season, including the final six games of the season. He missed both games in the ACC Tournament and both in the NCAA Tournament due to back spasms and discomfort, which also forced him to miss eight straight games from December to January.

He is trending to be a top 10 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft after being second on the team in scoring with 18.2 points, and leading the team with 4.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Brown was the second-highest commit in program history as he was a 5-star commit, and ranked No. 6 in the 2025 recruiting class and No. 1 among point guards.
