Freeman averaged 16.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 blocks, and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 47.4 percent from the field. He played in just 23 games this past season, but scored 20 or more points in eight of them, including a 28-point performance against Wake Forest.
Louisville would have to battle Kentucky and Alabama for the Syracuse transfer, but Freeman would be a great partner next to Bidunga. The 6-foot-9, 205-pound transfer ranks No. 14 overall and No. 4 among power forwards.
