1. Allen Evans - CB
No question about it, the biggest name on campus this weekend was 4-star cornerback and Louisville native, Allen Evans. The defensive back was not only the highest-ranked recruit to visit the Cardinals this weekend, but he also is the Cardinals' No. 1 target in the 2027 recruiting class as he attends Trinity High School just miles down the road from Louisville's campus.
Evans is one of the top players in the nation, ranking No. 109 overall, and he is trending as one of the top cornerbacks in the recruiting class, currently ranked No. 13 in that position. The Cardinals are currently the favorite to land Evans, as this was his first official visit, but his third total visit (he took two unofficial visits last year).
Louisville will have a recruiting battle to earn Evans' commitment, though. Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame are in hot pursuit right now for the elite cornerback, so it is crucial that this weekend goes well and Louisville stands out from those big-time programs, as he is a prospect who can completely change this program with his commitment.
