2. Cardinals rushing attack
As of right now, Louisville is down three of its top five running backs, and Isaac Brown and Duke Watson are listed as questionable. Jeff Brohm mentioned Caullin Lacy might get some reps in at running back this weekend if the Cardinals are without their top two running backs, but the reality is, Louisville will be able to break loose regardless of who is in the backfield.
Many believe Watson will be good to go on Saturday, as it is a game where he can break loose a few times and prove he is still the dominant second option. However, whether it is Brown, Watson, or even Lacy, this rushing attack has led the Cardinals for the past two seasons, and the coaches are confident in it, regardless of who is behind the line. If Lacy has to get some reps, he has proven multiple times in the passing game and special teams that once he gets the ball, he can make some magic happen. So, Louisville fans should be worried about the health of the Cardinals' running backs moving forward, but for this game tomorrow afternoon, expect some explosive plays like usual.
