Louisville football has held two fall camp scrimmages so far ahead of the 2025 season. The Cardinals are one of the top teams trending right now to crash the College Football Playoffs, and a big reason why is for star wide receiver Chris Bell.
Bell is expected to take a massive leap this year as he is already hearing his name buzz around the 2026 NFL Draft. Well, the star wide receiver just went viral for an insane catch from the first scrimmage that sent the Louisville fans into a complete frenzy.

The 6-foot-2 220-pound receiver is proving this offseason that he is worth the hype and is poised for another massive season. He recently became one of David Pollack's game-changers for the 2025 season. Bell is coming off his best season after 43 catches for 737 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Now that JaCorey Brooks is on the Washington Commanders, Bell is expected to emerge as WR1 for Miller Moss and the Cardinals. He will have some help to take some pressure off of him, as Caullin Lacy is seen in the clip making a couple of nice catches as well.
Lacy was the star of the Spring Game as he earned 99 receiving yards and a touchdown. These two receivers should be 1,000-yard receivers by the end of the season, making this offense one of the most explosive groups in the nation.
The Cardinals will have their last fall camp scrimmage tomorrow, Saturday, August 16. The Cardinals will kick off against Eastern Kentucky in two weeks on August 30 from L&N Stadium at 3 p.m. local time.
