Louisville football's wide receiver room is slowly starting to gain national media attention as the Cardinals will be led by two key veteran receivers, Caullin Lacy and Chris Bell. The Cardinals' offense is going to be run-dominant, but it will be important for Miller Moss to be a threat throwing the ball to really open up this entire offense.
The Cardinals' offense is loaded with talent, and with a lot of the eyes going to preseason All-American, Bell and Lacy are almost flying under everybody's radar, until now. Bell continues to hear his name brought up, as he was recently named Preseason All-ACC, and is now receiving extremely high praise from a football analyst.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiverĀ is poised for a breakout season as he has made drastic improvements year after year, and now that he will emerge as Moss's No. 1 target after Ja'Corey Brooks went to the NFL, he is already hearing his name for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Louisville star WR Chris Bell already earning 2026 NFL Draft hype with AJ Brown comparisons.
Bell has the potential to be one of the best wide receivers in the nation next season. Coming off his best year, where he earned 43 catches for 737 receiving yards, it is clear Bell has the chance to be something special.
AtoZ Sports recently dropped their top 10 wide receivers for the 2026 NFL Draft, and Bell heard his name in both analysts' top six and as high as the second-best receiver.
"Chris Bell is very liked around the NFL this year, so I think people are expecting a little bit of a breakout this year," Ryan Roberts stated when talking about Bell's potential. His co-host Joe Deleone then chimed in as he ranked Bell as the No. 6 best receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft and compared Brown to one of the best receivers in the NFL.
"He kind of reminds me of AJ Brown in a way," Deleone stated. "The way that he is built, the way that he plays, the way that he wins."
Deleone went on to praise Bell's athleticism for his size and his "underrated" speed. The two football analysts are incredibly high on Bell entering the 2025 season, and not only think he will have a breakout season, but they also think he is going to be drafted early in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2 200 200-pound receiver can win jump ball scenarios as he has incredibly strong hands, and then mix in the fact that he can run lethal slant routes or catch the ball on the outside and steamroll his way through defenders.
Bell being compared to Brown has Louisville fans smiling from ear to ear because if they can get a product like that this year to play with Brown and Moss, then this offense will be better than some can dream of.
