The 2025 college football season is officially here. ESPN's College GameDay traveled to Columbus, Ohio, for the No. 1 Texas vs. No. 3 Ohio State blockbuster Week 1 showdown, but the silver lining is that the College GameDay show is highlighting the legend Lee Corso in his final show after a 38-year run in the TV business.
While ESPN was highlighting Corso's final show, they aired a segment called "Where'd he end up?" and College GameDay displayed a picture on the screen of Louisville football's Miller Moss and the USC transfer. Well, it was Hall of Famer and seven-time National Champion Nick Saban to reveal where Moss transferred to, and Saban gave the Cardinals and Jeff Brohm extreme high praise.

Nick Saban reveals Louisville football struck gold with Miller Moss
Saban is one of, if not the best, college football coach of all time. The former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach won seven National Titles, six with Alabama and one with LSU, as well as five SEC Coach of the Year awards and two AP Coach of the Year awards. Any time Saban gives praise to a player, coach, or program, it is good to hear, and the Louisville Cardinals fans will love what he just said about Moss and Brohm.
"It is going to be a lethal combination because of the way he uses quarterbacks and Miller Moss's ability," Saban stated on ESPN's College GameDay show. "This is going to be fantastic for Louisville."
Moss transferred over to the Brohm and the Cardinals from USC, where he spent his first four years. Saban is extremely high not just on Moss and his skills, but also on Brohm as a coach.
Saban revealed he wanted to hire Brohm in the broadcast. Brohm has emerged as one of the best coaches in college football, and the glaring reason why is his highly explosive offense and ability to develop quarterbacks.
Moss will be Brohm's third straight transfer quarterback to start, as Tyler Shough and Jack Plummer began in 2023 and 2024. The previous two transfers, along with Brohm, led Louisville to 19 combined wins, the most in consecutive seasons for the program since 2014.
Moss will look to be the next star transfer quarterback for Brohm, and the legend and the Hall of Famer appears to think so. Saban just gave Louisville fans a lot to look forward to as the Cardinals prepare for their Week 1 showdown with Eastern Kentucky. The USC transfer threw for 2,555 yards last season and 18 touchdowns.
Saban ended his segment on Louisville and Moss by stating he believes the Cardinals are a legit ACC contender.
'I think they got a legitimate shot (to win the ACC), I really do, "Saban stated." I think they got a good football team."
Louisville opens up the season with the third-best odds to win the ACC, only behind Clemson and Miami. If Louisville wants to win the ACC, Moss will have to step up and live up to the hype that Saban just gave him and Brohm
