There have been way too many surprises to count thus far in the 2025 NFL Draft. Inarguably the biggest one, however, has been the fact that Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders did not hear his name called in the first three rounds of the draft.
What? It really is unreal, especially with some of the QBs who have been taken off the board before him. The list includes Louisville signal-caller Tyler Shough, who was selected in the second round with the No. 40 overall pick.
Louisville fans are pretty dang fired up for the standout signal-caller, as he'll look to push for early playing time in the NFC South. Cameras caught Deion Sanders seeing the Louisville star getting taken before his son. To say he was disappointed would be an understatement:

Deion Sanders couldn't believe Tyler Should was drafted over Shedeur
Welp, his reaction in that clip above says it all. Deion was shocked that Shough was the New Orleans pick in the second round. Remember when there was some buzz that Shedeur could potentially go to the Saints early in the first round?
Nothing came of that. To make things worse for the Sanders family, Shedeur didn't get taken in the first three rounds. As of this writing, he's still waiting for the phone to ring in the middle of the fourth round too. It really is something no one can believe.
As for Shough, though, he's fired up to be headed to the NFC South and his interview with ESPN shortly after New Orleans picked him made things better. He's been through a lot and has overcome a ton of adversity.
Some people may throw shade his way because he was taken over Shedeur, but the fact of the matter is the Saints trust him to come in and compete for a spot. He'll look to prove his haters wrong moving forward.
