Louisville football just had its biggest day in the Transfer Portal so far, and it is not even close. The Cardinals' massive day yesterday ended with eight portal commitments, including 4-star tight end Brody Foley. The Tulsa tight end is maybe the biggest addition so far this offseason for the Cardinals as he is ranked No. 61 in the portal and is the No. 3 tight end.
Louisville lost multiple key players across numerous positions, including at tight end. While Nate Kurisky had three productive seasons with the Cardinals, and it stung to see him transfer to an ACC foe, the Duke Blue Devils, the Cards just got a massive upgrade in that position. Another area Louisville has needed to target this offseason was the trenches, and Jeff Brohm certainly added depth to his offensive and defensive lines yesterday.
So, with Brohm and the Cardinals earning eight commitments yesterday, here is a quick overview of Louisville’s newest portal additions.

Louisville football dominates Tuesday with eight commitments
1. Brody Foley | TE | Tulsa
Transfer ranking: No. 61 | No. 3 TE
The Cardinals lost three tight ends to the portal so far, but with the addition of Foley, this tight end room just got a massive upgrade. Louisville saw Kurisky, Grant Houser, and Davon Mitchell all hit the portal, but as of now, the Cards were able to keep their biggest playmaker from last season in Jaleel Skinner and just added one of the best tight ends in the country.
Foley was being heavily recruited by Notre Dame, Tennessee, and others, but Brohm and Vince Marrow found a way to land the 4-star transfer. In 2025, Foley earned First Team All-AAC after logging 37 receptions, 540 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns.
