Wow! Louisville football fans are nearly speechless after the work Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow have put in on this Tuesday. The Cardinals have landed eight commitments on this electric Tuesday, leaving fans buzzing with excitement. On a day when many fans were looking forward to the massive Duke vs. Louisville basketball showdown, it was Brohm and the football program the fans were talking about heading into Wednesday.

While there is so much to unload with the eight commitments, the most recent one stands out from the rest. Louisville just learned late Tuesday evening that it earned the commitment of elite 4-star tight end Brody Foley. The Tulsa transfer is one of the top transfers in the portal and is now one of the Cardinals' biggest commitments this offseason.

Brohm and Marrow just landed a massive splash yet again, and they are earning this massive commitment over big-time programs. Foley reportedly already visited Notre Dame and was linked to Tennessee, but Brohm and Marrow were able to beat out these elite programs and secure the elite tight end's commitment.

The former Indiana commit was a 4-star recruit out of high school and committed to the Hoosiers after receiving more than 26 offers. Foley spent his first three seasons at Indiana, but after seeing limited playing time, he transferred to Tulsa, where his career took off.

In his lone season at Tulsa, he had a massive season. He went on to earn First-Team All-AAC honors after logging 37 catches for 527 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Foley earned a catch in 11 of Tulsa’s 12 games and became a significant piece of the Golden Hurricanes' offense after he earned five catches for 66 yards against Oklahoma State. After helping Tulsa earn that huge win over the Cowboys, Foley earned a touchdown and 40 receiving yards in four of their final seven games.

His best performance came against ECU when he hauled in six catches for 126 yards and one touchdown. Against Tulane, he added 72 receiving yards and a touchdown. In the game versus Oregon State, he notched seven catches for 95 yards and a touchdown, while his matchup with Temple saw him turn six catches into 41 yards and two touchdowns.

His impressive junior season made him the No. 3 tight end in the portal, and he is ranked as high as the No. 61 overall player in the Transfer Portal. Brohm has done a phenomenal job so far this offseason, but earning Foley’s commitment might be the Cardinals' biggest commitment so far. Louisville just got a huge target for transfer quarterback Lincoln Kienholz, and now the Cardinals fans hope DeAndre Moore Jr. is next.
