One of the Cardinals' biggest pickups in the trenches so far comes from the SEC. Louisville added South Carolina transfer Cason Henry after he entered the transfer portal, following three seasons with the Gamecocks. Henry was a two-year starter for South Carolina and will bring much-needed experience to the Cardinals' offensive line.
Henry transferred to Louisville after being ranked No. 188 on the portal and No. 14 among offensive linemen. Henry logged 417 snaps and allowed just 31 total pressures and six sacks in the 2024 season. In the 2025 season, before getting injured, he earned 114 snaps and allowed zero sacks and only one pressure.
