Louisville’s biggest offseason addition so far is the Vanderbilt transfer, Tre Richardson. One of the Cardinals' biggest areas of need entering the portal window was the wide receiver position, and the Cardinals earned a massive splash by adding Richardson. The Vandy transfer started his career at the JUCO level, then moved to Division II, and last season, he made the jump to the SEC.
The 4-star transfer led Vanderbilt last year with 806 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns on 46 catches. Louisville’s new WR1 committed to the Cardinals, ranking as high as the 12th-best wide receiver in the portal at the time, and now ranks No. 61 overall in the Transfer Portal.
