The biggest addition this offseason so far on the defensive side of the ball is the Iowa transfer Koen Entringer. The former captain and elite defensive back for the Hawkeyes transfers to Louisville with incredibly high expectations to lead Louisville’s secondary, as he is one of the Cardinals top ranked transfer commitments. The Iowa transfer ranks No. 156 overall and No. 11 among safeties.
With the safety position still being one area the Cardinals have to address, the addition of Entringer looks better and better. The All-Big Ten safety earned 73 tackles, four pass deflections, and one forced fumble last season after taking a massive jump from the year prior, where he earned 18 tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception.
