Louisville gets a massive boost at the wide receiver position when the Cardinals land 4-star transfer and former Florida State Seminole, Lawayne McCoy. The Cardinals' offense is trending toward being one of the most explosive in the ACC after landing McCoy. The 4-star transfer was a unanimous 4-star recruit out of high school, ranking No. 146 overall and No. 6 at the athlete position.
He transferred to Louisville and was ranked No. 395 overall and No. 61 at the wide receiver position, but his rankings have soared, with him now ranked No. 87 overall and No. 20 among wide receivers. At FSU, he played in 10 games and started seven. He earned 27 receptions for 396 yards, including a career game against Florida, where he secured six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.
