Louisville fans cannot wait for the college basketball season, as the Cardinals are trending among the nation's top 15 teams. Pat Kelsey had a crazy offseason, landing one of the best Transfer Portal classes in the country, bringing in seven transfers, including UNC transfer Seth Trimble, whose eligibility we're still waiting to confirm.

Flory Bidunga just gave Louisville fans another reason to believe in Pat Kelsey

As for the rest of the transfers, Kelsey also landed multiple former 5-star recruits, including starting point guard Jackson Shelstad and Arkansas transfer Karter Knox. However, the biggest name to commit to Louisville this offseason is, of course, the 5-star transfer from Kansas, Flory Bidunga.

The 5-star transfer is one of the top rim protectors in college basketball and is expected to elevate the Cardinals' paint presence to a level we haven’t seen in a long time. On the other hand, many fans and analysts hope he can take a jump this year, and a recent video posted by Louisville’s social media team it certainly appears he is improving quickly under Kelsey.

Louisville’s Flory Bidunga just showed why his offensive game could change everything

All offseason, Louisville fans have heard about Bidunga and his offensive bag. Many reporters and analysts have said his offensive bag is limited, and he's primarily a lob threat and not much of a threat when he has the ball.

Well, maybe this most recent clip will change that perspective. Bidunga dribbles at the top of the key, hits a filthy crossover, takes one quick dribble into the lane, and the 5-star center rises and slams a monster dunk over two defenders.

Last year, Bidunga was. mainly used as a lob threat and to secure offensive rebounds, but since he arrived at UofL, Kelsey has clearly pushed Bidunga’s offensive game and quickly expanded his bag. Kelsey hinted at Bidunga’s untapped potential when he stated, “We believe there is another level to his game offensively that we're ready to unlock when he steps on campus. He is a true, two-way impactful player that we believe is only scratching the surface of his potential.”

Well, now Louisville fans are seeing a glimpse of that next level of his offensive game, and the Cards fans can’t wait. Bidunga averaged 13.3 points and 9.0 rebounds last year, and went on to make the All-Big 12 First-Team.

He is known for his ability to block and protect the paint, averaging 2.6 blocks per game, and earning 90 blocks on the year. However, this clip shows that Biduga has a deeper offensive bag that some may realize and if he can be more than a lob threat, this Cardinals offense has a chance to be very good.
