Former Louisville football legend and current Baltimore Ravens superstar Lamar Jackson claimed another NFL record on Sunday. The former Heisman winner for the Louisville Cardinals is having a career that will go down in the NFL record books.

The star quarterback for the Ravens is solidifying himself as one of the best quarterbacks of all time as he proves every year that he can be dominant both with his legs and with his arm. The two-time NFL MVP already holds multiple records in his seven-year career, and now, in his eighth season, it took just two games for him to claim another record.

Lamar Jackson claims the best passer rating of all-time

On Sunday, September 14, Jackson helped lead the Ravens to a dominant 41-17 win over the Cleveland Browns. While he led his Ravens to a win, he was also able to pass Aaron Rodgers for the best passer rating of all time.

Jackson threw 19-for-29, which is a completion percentage of 65.5 percent, and added four passing touchdowns and a passer rating of 128.6. He now holds the record for the best passer rating of all time with a 102.65 passer rating.

The former Cardinal is making a strong case to be one of the top quarterbacks of all time, as he now holds the best passer rating of all time, along with the most rushing yards by a quarterback. Jackson has a total of 6,256 rushing yards along with his 20,493 passing yards

After Rodgers, there are Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, who are close behind with a passer rating of 101.8 and 101.0, but given how dominant Jackson has been dating back to last season, it doesn't look like anyone is taking this record away from him anytime soon.
