Jeff Brohm and Louisville land 4-star ATH over Georgia, Miami, and more after recent visit

Louisville football and Jeff Brohm continue to turn heads nationwide as the Cardinals land another 4-star recruit in the 2027 recruiting class. The Cardinals are trying to make history with this 2027 recruiting class, as right now Brohm and Vince Marrow have it ranked inside the top 20, which has never been done after signing day.

On Monday evening, 4-star running back AJ Tillman Jr. announced his commitment to Louisville after he visited the Cards over the weekend. Louisville had a massive recruiting weekend, hosting over 15 recruits, including multiple 2027 commits like Ja’Hyde Brown and Allen Evans.

Louisville got good news shortly following the major weekend as Tillman announced he will joins this elite recruiting class.

The 4-star 2027 athlete is a rising recruit in this cycle. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound running back plays multiple positions as he ranks as high as the No. 10 athlete in the 2027 recruiting class. Tillman ranks among the top 400 by multiple recruiting sources, as high as No. 226 overall by ESPN and No. 358 by 247Sports.

Tillman was a highly recruited Georgia native, as the Cardinals ultimately earned his commitment over major programs such as Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Colorado, Miami, UNC, Ole Miss, and others. The 4-star recruit earned over 30 offers.

He marks as the second running back to commit to Louisville, joining Justice Hardy. Tillman rushed for 1,502 yards and 17 touchdowns, while earning 19 receptions for 195 yards and two receiving touchdowns in the past two seasons. The 4-star athlete also played on defense, earning 42 tackles, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions.

Tillman has Louisville, and this 2027 recruiting class ranked as high as No. 18 in the nation, per 247Sports. Louisville has never had a class ranked inside the top 20 after the official signing day, and with the Cardinals planning to have a couple more major recruiting weekends, Brohm and Marrow hope to remain inside the top 20 and land more commitments following these visits.
