Louisville football continues to make some moves in the Transfer Portal, landing its fifth commitment this offseason. Jeff Brohm landed Eryx Daugherty, adding much-needed depth to the Cardinals' offensive line after Daugherty announced his commitment early Tuesday morning.
Louisville lost several key starters from last year, but Brohm has prioritized his offensive line, hosting several offensive line transfers. Daugherty is the first OL commitment from the 2026 Transfer Portal and will boost this offensive line after a disappointing season a year ago.

Jeff Brohm boosts Louisville OL after landing No. 3 interior OL transfer
Daugherty is coming off an impressive season at Boston College and is among the top-ranked offensive linemen in the Transfer Portal. The Boston College transfer was ranked as high as No. 46 in the portal and was the No. 3 interior offensive lineman.
The 4-star offensive linemen is the Cardinals' third offensive commitment this offseason as Louisville landed Ohio State transfer and future QB1 Lincoln Kienholz, and Missouri transfer and former 4-star running back Marquise Davis.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman was one of the top offensive linemen in the ACC last year after he earned 431 pass block snaps and didn’t allow one sack and just 12 total pressures. The sophomore lineman has registered 742 pass blocking snaps in his collegiate career and has never given up a sack. He was a former 3-star recruit out of high school and committed to Boston College over Maryland, and seven other programs.
Louisville football fans also learned that key offensive linemen Lance Robinson will return next season, and the elite Boston College transfer will now join him. The Cardinals' offensive line was one of the more disappointing groups last season, but with the addition of Daugherty and securing Robinson for another year, the pieces are slowly beginning to fall into place.
