Jeff Brohm stays red-hot as Louisville football lands second coveted WR this week

Louisville football’s 2027 recruiting surge continues as Jeff Brohm lands another commitment, marking No. 10 for the 2027 cycle and the second one this week. Brohm and Vince Marrow remain red-hot in recruiting, as Louisville fans learned that elite wide receiver Darion Moseley committed to the Cardinals.

Vince Marrow’s tease has Louisville football fans zeroing in on one key 4-star target

The 3-star wide receiver earned over 22 offers, including from big-time programs like Washington, Nebraska, Kentucky, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Utah, and many more. The Cardinals were the first Power Four program to extend an offer to Moseley, and the loyalty played a big role as Brohm landed his third 2027 wide receiver commitment.

The newest 2027 commitment comes from Alabaster, Alabama, where he plays for Thompson High School. The coveted 3-star ranks as high as No. 898 overall in the 2027 cycle, No. 86 among wide receivers, and No. 30 among recruits from the state of Alabama.

Moseley will take an official visit to Louisville in June, with visits to Mississippi State and Utah also lined up. The 3-star committed to Louisville after he cut his list down to six schools, where the Cardinals earned his commitment over Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Washington, Missouri, and Utah.

Louisville’s wide receiver coach, Deion Branch, continues to land elite playmakers as Moseley earned 68 receptions for 1,128 yards and seven touchdowns his junior season. The Cards' newest commit also had a big sophomore year, logging 53 catches for 756 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Now, he is the second wide receiver to commit to Louisville this week, as 4-star Kentucky native Ja’Hyde Brown committed to the Cardinals on March 30. Brown ranks as high as No. 292 in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 49 among wide receivers. Also, in the wide receiver room in this 2027 cycle is Chuck Alexander, who ranks No. 316 overall and No. 40 among wide receivers.

Louisville’s 2027 class continues to turn heads nationwide as they move up to No. 6 in the 2027 overall football team rankings.
