Louisville basketball secured a program record 16 wins in the ACC, which is now the most in program history in a single-season. Pat Kelsey change of culture is one of the biggest reasons for this program best 15 win turnaround season.

Louisville basketball star guard, Chucky Hepburn, not only put up the best performance of his career on Saturday, but quite possibly one of the best performances of the year around the whole nation.

Hepburn scored 37 points, on 100% from downtown(6-6), and shot 82% from the field(9-11). The 6-foot-2 guard from Omaha, Neb. was the definition of on-fire last game and could not miss. Hepburn six threes came in the final five minutes of the first half as he made the last six baskets for Louisville and secured a 10 point lead at half time

Louisville basketball's Chucky Hepburn draws Hall-of-Fame comparisons

Louisville basketball is currently the No. 2 seed in the ACC and are one game behind Duke Blue Devils. Pat Kelsey and his squad are one of the most surprising teams this year, and that is thanks to the 13 new players Kelsey brought with him.

The star of those 13 players? Chucky Hepburn. The Cardinals point guard has been one of the best point guards in the nation, and he continues to show off his skills this past game. Kelsey took the mic in his post game and compared Hepburn to one of the best shooters of all-time.

"Chucky had a game that he is going to tell his grandchildren about." Kelsey stated. "That stretch of four-minutes before half was as amazing of point guard play, kind of looked like Steph Curry out there."

Steph Curry currently is the all-time three-point leader in NBA history with 3,974 made threes. The Warriors star guard doesn't really need a introductionn, but he is known for going on spurts where the rim is as big as the ocean and if he chucks one up, it will find a way to go in.

"Even the one after the whistle he kind of threw up and it went in. I played basketball my whole life and I never been in a zone like that." Kelsey stated. "Chucky was feeling it that way tonight."

Cardinals star guard currently averages 16.3 points, 6.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals per game, and shoots at an exceptional rate of 45.2%, from the field and 36.0% from downtown. It is no secret that Cardinals fans and Pat Kelsey believe he is a top 10 point guard in the league.

Hepburn being left off the Bob Cousy Award finalist list is jaw-dropping, and doesn't really make much sense. His past month continues to proves college basketball wrong, as Cardinals fans maybe should thank that team that didn't put him on the list, as he has been a flame thrower ever since and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

"You watch that game tonight and you tell me he is not one of the top ten point guards in the United States of America, that is a freaking joke. He is special." Kelsey stated about Chucky Hepburn being left of Bob Cousy Award finalist.

Hepburn is one of the most selfless point guards in the nation. He cares about the score and the Cardinals winning over any accolades. He didn't shoot any threes in the second half and that seems to have been planned.

"We draw something up for him out of half, because he had like a million points, and he goes 'man they are going to be draped all over me, put fat (Terrence Edwards Jr.) in that position, they will follow me off the exit screen, and it will open up James for a lob. That is special." Kelsey stated on Hepburn being selfless.

This Louisville basketball team is a force to be reckoned with, and have just two games remaining in the regular season. Cardinals secured a double-bye in the ACC and will start in the tournament on March 13.
