Louisville basketball only had one game this past week, but they yet agains secured a victory by double digits.
Cardinals have dominated all ACC opponents this year, and nearly everyone they have played this 2024-2025 season. UofL has 17 wins on the season by 10 points or more, nine wins by 15 points or more, seven wins by 20 points or more, four wins by 25 or more, two wins by 30 points or more, and their biggest win coming by 48 points or more.
Louisville is coming off Chucky Hepburns career-defining 37 point game, as he led the Cardinals to defeat Pitt 79-68 on Saturday night. Cardinals improve their win streak to seven consecutive games and have won 17 of their last 18.
The coaches and AP rankings came out today, and Cardinals fans have been getting chirped at all season by Kentucky Wildcats fans, but after Wildcats have lost five of their last seven Louisville basketball fans are looking at these rankings, and are laughing hysterically.

Louisville basketball are officially the highest they have been ranked all season, and the highest they have been ranked since 2021. Cardinals come into the final stretch and their last week of the regular season ranked No. 14.
The funny part is now the Cardinals are officially ranked higher than their in-state rival Kentucky. Kentucky is 19-10, 8-8 in SEC, and have fans questioning the recent hire of Mark Pope. Kentucky dropped to No. 1 Auburn this past week, and caused the Wildcats to fall in the rankings and are six spots behind the Cardinals at No. 19
Cardinals are just behind No. 10 Iowa State, No. 11 Clemson, No. 12 Wisconsin, and No. 13 Maryland as Louisville has their eyes on a top-five seed in the NCAA Tournament. Louisville still has a path to winning the ACC regular-season title, but for that to happen they need to follow these three steps here.
The Cardinals come in ranked No. 13 in the Coaches poll, and like in the AP rankings, Kentucky is behind the Cardinals as they are ranked No. 24. Louisville basketball fans can't wait to point this out to Wildcat nation, as Louisville basketball is trending as one of the hottest teams in the nation, and well Kentucky is the complete opposite.
Cardinals look to end the season on a nine game win streak, as they play Cal this Wednesday, March 5, and Stanford on Saturday, March 8. Both games will be home at the KFC Yum! Center.
