Louisville basketball is making a push for a few targets at the moment, but the next transfer to be on campus for an official visit is the Arkansas transfer, Karter Knox. The Cardinals are coming off a huge Sunday when they landed two elite transfers, Flory Bidunga and Jackson Shelstad, and now Pat Kelsey and company will try to carry that momentum into Tuesday with Knox on campus.
Who's coming and who's going: Louisville basketball 2026 Transfer Portal tracker
The Cards' recruiting surge isn’t set to slow down anytime soon as Louisville has lost nine of it top ten players from the 2025-26 season so far, with Adrian Wooley being the only Cardinal still on the roster. With Louisville losing that many players, the Cards are rebuilding their entire roster, including the frontcourt, as it was their glaring weakness.
So, as with Kelsey trying to land his next small forward, Knox emerges as a top target for the Cardinals, with the former All-American taking a visit to Louisville on Tuesday.

Louisville basketball will host Karter Knox for a visit Tuesday
Knox is a former Louisville Cardinal recruiting target from the 2024 recruiting class. Louisville was one of his finalists as a high school recruit, where he chose Kentucky over Louisville and South Florida. However, he then followed John Calipari to Arkansas and will now be available and entered the portal after two seasons with Coach Cal.
Knox is a former McDonald's All-American and a former 5-star recruit who ranked as high as No. 22 in the nation, No. 8 among small forwards, and No. 2 among recruits from Georgia. He went on to average 8.3 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 35 percent from beyond the arc in his true freshman season.
He played a key role in Arkansas’s Sweet 16 run in March Madness, averaging 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in three games, including 15 points and six rebounds in Arkansas's upset win over the No. 2 seed St. John’s and 20 points and six rebounds in their overtime loss in the Sweet 16 to Texas Tech.
This past season, the sophomore averaged 8.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 46 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from beyond the arc. Knox battled injuries all season, playing in just 22 games, and missed the final 12 after undergoing surgery on his left meniscus.
Now, he is in the portal after two seasons with the Razorbacks and emerges as a 4-star transfer. The Cards need an athletic wing with length, and at 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, he emerges as a perfect target. Knox ranks as high as No. 54 overall in the portal and No. 6 among small forwards in the Transfer Portal.
