Louisville basketball recently dominated the Memphis Tigers in a 99-73 victory inside the KFC Yum! Center. Cardinals fans saw a lethal performance from beyond the arc, and while the story of the night was the performance on the court, there was also some off-court action. Louisville hosted some elite recruits for the game, including 4-star Reese Alston.

Alston ranks as high as No. 21 in the nation and the No. 4 point guard in the 2027 class. Also, in the building for an unofficial visit was South Carolina decommit, Isaac Ellis.

Jody Demling of 247 Sports reported that Ellis was in the building on Saturday and that the South Carolina decommit was "impressed." Ellis originally committed to South Carolina, but in November, he decommitted from the Gamecocks and reclassified to the 2027 class.

He initially committed to South Carolina over Oklahoma State, but now he was seen on campus in Louisville for the Cardinals' win over the Tigers. He plays for Moravian Prep and has gone viral for his time with Overtime Elite, where he averages  30.4 points and eight assists per game.

He is a bit undersized at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, but his older brother is currently at South Carolina at 6-feet tall and averaging over 10 points per game on 40.7 percent shooting. Isaac stated he doesn't want to wait much longer before committing, but wants to make sure he finds the right fit.

The Cardinals have already earned one commitment in the 2027 class in Ferlandes Wright, and they are recruiting this class hard to try to get out in front. Louisville has been in contact with many 4-stars and 5-stars in the class, and Kelsey is trying to make Louisville one of the top destinations in college basketball.
