The transfer portal for the Louisville basketball team is starting to heat up as Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals recently made Adrian Wooley's top four schools, per Joe Tipton. The Kennesaw State transfer has officially narrowed his list down to four schools. Louisville is set to battle it out with SEC giants and a college basketball blue-blood program.

Last season, Wooley averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. This lethal shooter is listed as a 5-star recruit in the transfer portal and is ranked as high as the No. 3 best player in the portal, according to 247Sports.

The final four schools in the race for Wooley include Louisville, Auburn, Alabama, and Kansas.

This elite shooting guard has been a dream target for Louisville basketball fans, as the fanbase is already dreaming of the dynamic duo of Mikel Brown Jr. and Wooley. The sharpshooter was the Conference-USA Freshman of the Year last season and also earned All-CUSA honors.

The Cardinals desperately need a sharpshooter, and Wooley would immediately solve Kelsey's glaring weakness. Last season, the Kennesaw State transfer shot 51.2 percent from the floor and 42.2 percent from downtown. Louisville struggled from beyond the arc, connecting around 32 percent and being highly inconsistent.

The 6-foot-5 guard out of Alabama is expected to be a hard grab as the Crimson Tide will be a glaring threat in this race. The true freshman splashed 73 threes in his freshman season and made three or more threes in 15 games. His season-high six threes on 60 percent shooting against Brewton-Parker.

Wooley visited Louisville's campus Friday, March 28. The Cardinals hope to hear good news from this lethal shooter and potentially team him up with Brown and Isaac McKneely.
