The Louisville Cardinals' offseason is in full swing as the team welcomes players back for summer workouts. Louisville basketball has posted multiple social media posts showcasing Aly Khalifa, Kasean Pryor, Khani Rooths, and more.

The offseason has been a significant one for Pat Kelsey and his staff, as their additions rank No. 3 in the nation according to 247Sports and have boosted the Cardinals' National Championship odds to the fourth-best in the country.

Louisville is immediately one of the best teams in the nation after their three transfer additions, but according to Rob Dauster of The Field of 68, Louisville was not one of the biggest winners; in fact, they didn't even crack his top 10.

Dauster and Jeff Goodman released their lists of the biggest winners this offseason, and while Goodman had the Cardinals in the right area at No. 6, Dauster's list loses credibility once he doesn't include Louisville in the top ten.

He tried to cheat the system, placing "The ACC" at No. 9 and claiming he had grouped Louisville, North Carolina State, and Miami. However, the truth is that Louisville and North Carolina State deserve their own spot on this list, and especially the Cardinals.

The Cardinals took the quality over quantity approach, adding three of the best shooters and guards in the transfer portal and college basketball. Kelsey added 5-star Adrian Wooley and two 4-stars in Ryan Conwell and Isaac McKneely.

All three players shot the rock over 40 percent from the 3-point line last season and made 70 3-pointers or more. Kelsey formed one of the best backcourts in the nation and also assembled one of the best rosters.

5-star point guard Mikel Brown Jr. will run the show and will be joined by 4-star power forward Sananda Fru. These two commitments are expected to start for Kelsey next season, and they will hope to lead the Cardinals to their first National Title since 2013.

Louisville not being ranked in Dauster's top 10 for their offseason additions is a complete joke. The Cardinals deserve a spot in the top 10 and shouldn't be grouped with their conference, as they had one of the best offseasons in the nation, not just within their conference. Louisville's three transfers have an average rating of 96, the highest average rating among any program, according to On3 Sports.
