Louisville basketball just announced the official signing of 4-star Mouhamed Camara. The Senegal native is ranked as high as No. 212 in the nation, and No. 43 as a power forward.
Head coach Pat Kelsey made a massive steal with Camara, as he has tremendous upside and can be a crucial two-way player not only down the road, but also next season. Camara's defensive instincts, combined with his high-volume shooting, could be precisely what Kelsey needs off the bench.
Camara's athleticism, combined with his 6-foot-8, 215-pound frame, is what Cardinals fans have been begging for, and now they have it with this 4-star commit. Louisville needed someone with that build who could be an elite two-way player, and after watching this highlight reel, the fans are stoked to see Camara in a Cardinals uniform next season.

Louisville basketball’s sneakiest offseason addition is Kelsey’s ultimate x-factor
Camara spent the previous two seasons with the NBA Academy Africa, averaging 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, while shooting 60.0% from the field and 37.5% from beyond the arc. Kelsey believes the incoming freshman has the skills and potential to emerge as a star defender for Louisville, but after watching this highlight tape, the fans are stunned by the pure athleticism the 6-foot-8 forward has.
The first clip displays Camara completing a transition windmill, with a defender right on his back, followed by many tomahawk slams and vicious dunks in the 58-second clip. Also shown in the highlight reel is Camara knocking down 3-pointers, showing he can be not only an elite two-way player but possibly a solid 3-and-D star.

If Camara can develop his shot to be consistent from beyond the arc and be the elite defender he was during his two seasons with the NBA Academy Africa, then he has the potential to be a star in the making for Kelsey's Cardinals.
